In-person and Virtual Huskies Scholarship Drop-In Sessions

The Huskies Scholarship program is putting on a series of drop-in sessions to help guide students through the application process, which is open from now until March 16. Throughout the day Huskies Scholarships will host three sessions:

10:30 p.m. to 12 p.m. at the Glacier North Room in the Atwood Memorial Center.

2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Glacier North Room in the Atwood Memorial Center.

5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in a virtual meeting found on HuskiesConnect.

Medtech Graduate Programs Information Session

The MedTech department is hosting an online Graduate Program Information Session. The session aims to be an informational program for students seeking a path in MedTech Graduate Programs and who would like details on how they can go about earning their master’s degree. The session runs from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., and the Meeting Invitation will be sent out after signing up via HuskiesConnect.

A Conversation with St. Cloud Area School District Superintendent

St. Cloud Area School District Superintendent Laurie Putnam is visiting St. Cloud State for an in-depth conversation on Professor Mary Clifford’s “A.I. for Everyone Class.” The class was introduced this semester and aims to give students a comprehensive overview of the technology, and its real-world applications. The conversation will be held in the Atwood Gallery from 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Using Graduate Student Online Forms: Drop-In Session

The School of Graduate Studies is hosting an online drop-in period for all graduate students, faculty, and advisors. Graduate students are required to submit online forms to complete their program, so this session will help with the submission process and completion deadlines. The online session will take place from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and the zoom link can be accessed on HuskiesConnect.

Game Night ft. Overwatch 2 / Marvel Rivals

St. Cloud State Esports is hosting a game night in the esports lounge. Games include Overwatch 2 and Marvel Rivals. The games start at 5 p.m., and no registration is necessary.

Calvary College Nights: Ephesians

In their weekly series, the student-led Calvary College Ministry hosts “discussion, fellowship, and food,” engaging students with the gospel and accompanying conversation. This meeting will look at “The Epistle to the Ephesians,” and feature a guest speaker to guide the service. College Nights take place every Thursday at the Calvary Community Church from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Huskies Late Skate

The Huskies Events and Activities Team is hosting a Late Skate Event at the St. Cloud Skatin’ Place. The Events Team will provide free transportation, laser tag, skating, game tokens, and food for all students. Event shuttles start leaving at 9:15 p.m. from the Atwood entrance closest to Garvey, and the final shuttle will depart at 11:30 p.m. Shuttles will return periodically from The Skatin’ Place, and the final shuttle is scheduled at 12:30 a.m. The event is free for students.

Saturday, Feb. 8

Snow Tubing and Snow Sports at Powder Ridge

Campus Recreation is hosting St. Cloud State students for an adventure to The Powder Ridge Hills in Kimball, Minn. for a day of snow tubing and snow sports. The event costs $55, with transportation included. Students, Faculty, and Staff are encouraged to join.
