Of the three finalists, King Banaian, SCSU economics professor and the interim dean of the School of Public Affairs, will start his forum and presentation at 2:15 p.m. this Friday in the Glacier North room in the Atwood Memorial Center (AMC).

Following Banaian’s forum and presentation, Steven Roper, dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, will present at 2 p.m. on April 20 in the Voyageurs South room, also in the AMC.

The last presentation, by Russell Meyer, vice president for Planning, Institutional Research and Assessment, will start at 2 p.m., April 27, in the Glacier North room.

Along with managing the school–which is comprised of the Criminal Justice, Economics, Geography and Planning, Political Science, and Military Science departments–the Dean of the School of Public Affairs will work closely with the incoming provost/vice president for Academic Affairs, Ashish Vaidya.

Both the dean and the provost/vice president are to start in their positions July 1, according to University Communications.
