Men’s hockey: meet the freshmen

The Huskies start the 2015-2016 hockey season with nine freshmen on their roster. With players, including a NHL draft pick (Borgen) and a USHL Rookie of the Year award winner (Jackson), the team is adding some exciting new talent to the locker room.

The men’s hockey team will have their first home game against University of Alberta on Oct. 3 in the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.
Maddie MacFarlane is a senior at St. Cloud State. She is majoring in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Photojournalism and a minor in Graphic Design. In addition to the University Chronicle, MacFarlane works for the SCSU Athletics department as a photographer and is the Creative Services intern at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.
